Among them, the accelerometer is used to provide the acceleration force of the UAV in the XYZ three-axis direction, the gyroscope sensor can monitor the angular velocity of the three axes, and then can monitor the rate of change of the angle when pitching, rolling and yaw, the magnetic compass can provide a sense of direction for the UAV, and the barometric pressure sensor can use atmospheric pressure to convert the altitude, and assist the UAV navigation through the collected data, accurately estimate the ascent and descent speed, etc. It is especially important for drone flight control.
The working principle of the barometric pressure sensor is to use the barometric pressure sensor as the altitude measurement device and the digital signal processor as the microcontroller unit to design a miniature altitude measurement system for the UAV. The median average filtering method is used to process the raw data of the barometer to obtain high-precision altitude measurements. Altitude measurement is one of the core tasks of UAVs, which is responsible for the flight altitude control of UAV flight control systems, and is the foundation and key to realizing the wide application of UAVs. Due to the light load of the UAV, strict data parameter requirements are put forward in many aspects such as the volume, power consumption, response time, measurement accuracy, and stability of the barometric pressure sensor.
